Duck Hunting

The only reason you aren’t hooked on waterfowl hunting is because you haven’t gone. Experience some of the best this state has to offer at Fieldstone Hunting Preserve. Two beautiful ponds break up the army of hardwoods on our property. Both bodies of water provide excellent cover for the ducks and those hunting them, making them perfect for first-timers and seasoned veterans alike. We will also help clean the birds so they can be cooked and eaten later in the day.

$600 Per shooter

Season runs from October 1st - March 31st.

Six ducks included per shooter ( Additional Ducks: $50 each)

Dry Blinds, No Waders Required

Dog(s) are provided or bring your own

Max of 4 Shooter per blind

Coffee & pastries pre-hunt and a full hot country breakfast following the hunt

Kids under 12 are free with an adult ( Kid-shot ducks count towards paying hunter's total).

1 round (25) of skeet shooting. (shells not included but are available)

Morning Check In: 6:00 AM During Native Season, 7:00 AM Non-Native Season.

To reserve your hunt a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

A duck stamp is not needed, but you are required to have a GA Hunting License or a Preserve License. The DNR now requires preserve licenses to be obtained directly by the hunter. Fieldstone will not have permits available. To obtain your preserve license, contact the DNR directly at 1-800-366-2661, or visit http://georgiawildlife.com/licenses-permits-passes. You will need to present your license for verification before the hunt.

What to expect

Hunters will be escorted to their blind. As the sun rises, the birds will start to fly. We welcome you to call the birds in as they search for their next meal. After a hunter reaches his limit, a member of our crew will help you collect your birds with our dog. You are encouraged to bring your own retriever. We will then provide a ride back to the Pavilion for a hot southern breakfast. After breakfast, you and your group can gather for photos of your birds. We provide frozen breasted birds from the previous hunt in exchange for the ones from your hunt. The hunting experience will typically conclude about 10:30 a.m..
