Annie Oakley
How to Play
Annie Oakley
Participants can enjoy a few extra rounds of clays by enjoying a friendly game of Annie Oakley or also knows as "Pieces".
Tournament rules are as follows: Starting with a shooter in the far left shooting station, the shooting begins. The first shooter calls for a target and must shoot the target on the rise. The goal of the 1st shooter is to hit the clay so well that the 2nd shooter has a difficult time hitting the entire clay or falling "pieces" of a hit clay. After the 1st shooter has taking his shot, the second shooter located in the right shooting stand has his/her opportunity to shoot at the clay as a whole or attempt to hit "pieces" from the left over target hit by the 1st shooter. If the 2nd shooter hits an untouched clay, 1 point is assigned and if the 2nd shooter hits any "pieces" from a broken clay, 2 points are assigned. If both shooters miss the target, all shooters are safe and the second shooter will rotate into the far left shooting station and start the next round by calling for the target. This sequence is repeated till one shooter hits 10 points. The 2nd shooter is allowed to take a shot on any falling target without waiting for the 1st shooter attempt. A shooter who shoots out of turn is penalized 1 point. Enjoy!
